I usually find angst of children’s shows to be funny but the ONLY angst from a kids show to have made me genuinely sad was anything with Professor Membrane and Dib. Listening to Beautiful Boy and thinking of their relationship in the movie makes me so emotional for some reason.

Annabelle Cane does an outfit change mid-performance but instead of a cute twirly new dress she just starts molting on stage for like twenty minutes. (The new version of her *is* cute and twirly but the husk also stays for the rest of the performance).
