Elli is a babydoll. Something like that would make Ari smile so much. The crown's probably still clumsily made, but she'll keep it on for the next three days, even when addressing the Inquisition. Or sitting in judgement.

Ari's hair is actually silky smooth because she maintains that shit with Dalish secrets. She'll keep still for a while, but then later she just leans into Cullen and steals a kiss or two, getting in the way of hair-brushing and possibly braiding.
