♚ — The winds blew ominously that eve, carrying with them a relentless display of snow that only seemed to escalate slowly as time passed. But this was a trifling matter for the Witch of Miracles, whom expected an audience regardless of the weather. A tea party. A seemingly simple gesture, set within the confines of a tea shop she'd forcibly occupied during the earlier duration of her stay.
It was a quaint cafe from the exterior, a tea cup hanging cutely above the door with the shop's name 'Tee der Wunder' in cursive print below. Though, upon opening the door, when one might expect an adorable chime, they would hear an eerie laugh. What? Don't judge.
Upon entering, one would find the shop to be far more spacious than what was expected from the outdoors. A lobby would greet those entering, with a seating area in the back, and a flight of stairs that looked to go both up to a second floor and down to a basement, though they were made inaccessible at present. A kitchen rested in the back of the main floor, though... it was odd. It bore an uncanny resemblance to that of the Ushiromiya Main Building on Rokkenjima. In fact, despite the difference in size, the whole tea shop resembled that manor a great deal, dressed with decor very similar to that of the mansion itself. In the lobby, even a large replica of the painting of the Golden Witch, Beatrice, hung.
Either Bernkastel had gone to great lengths to replicate the atmosphere of that island, or her magic had done all the work for her.
It wasn't until the majority of the guests had gathered that Bernkastel showed herself, emerging from the kitchen and providing a polite curtsy.
It was undoubted that at least some among her guests doubted her intentions with this get together. Gathering all of the Pieces from Rokkenjima in one place, with few that could match her strength at present, sounded dangerous enough. They had reason to be wary. But whether or not this would take a turn for the dramatic would yet to be seen.
"Greetings, honored guests." Despite the gentle smile the Witch portrayed, her words carried a monotone that matched the dead look in her eyes. With a wave of her hand, tables filled the lobby, lined with food and drink while leaving room to mingle, and even dance if the classical music in the background suited their fancy.
"I'm glad you were all able to attend, regardless of whether or... personal grudges." And there were plenty of those between the occupants of this room, not just against herself. "I won't tie you up with meaningless chatter for now, however, feel free to mingle. This is a party, after all."
This is only for Umineko castmates! They're the only ones that received invitations, and the only ones that can enter.
The point of this isn't primarily for Bernkastel to be Bernkastel (though it will inevitably happen), but for everyone to mingle. This party would be best used to interact with each other, especially while it retains it's light-hearted theme.
That said, if you'd like to interact with Bernkastel, feel free to reply to this post or tag her in a starter (but cut all the rule stuff off your reblog!).
Not everyone tagged has to participate! I know some of you have multiple Umineko muses in the group, and that'd be a lot of effort.
The chances of Bernkastel being antagonistic later are high, but I'll be saving that for later on.
Last but not least, have fun! I really just wanted to do something for our cast as a whole, since I'm not only enamored with the source work, but also everyone's portrayals!
