“Huh?” He turned his head, though it was too late. He tripped over a rock and landed face first into the quick sand. Luckily it wasn’t deep, but it definitely made a mess of the poor Elsen. He sat up, and shook his hands and cleaned the best he could off his face. “G-Geeze Hhhh I should of studied this area better, but silly me thinking I could brave the wilderness and do the human hobby of camping.” He had trouble cleaning his face so he crawled back onto dry grass and continued to try and clean his face.
“Excuse me! um, whoever gave me the warning. Can you reach into my bag and take out the hand towel. I’m having a hard time getting this guck off.” Strangely he wasn’t freaking out, but it was possibly he didn’t see the other clearly so he assumed it was just another regular human which really didn’t scare him….much.
Oh, he fell into it. But to her relief, it didn’t seem deep. It wasn’t sucking him in or anything like it did in the movies. Though Ketsueki always told her movies loved to exaggerate. Maybe all quick sand was like this.
She watched from behind a tree, her head tilting to the side as the stranger tried to get the sand off his face. When he spoke, her eyes scanned the area and saw the bag. She went over it and found the cloth and went over to him, and offered it to him. “Glad you didn’t get sucked into.. L-like the movies.. But you’re trying to camp?”
