I hate falling out of love with people, it’s so awkward...

Because I want to be loving towards them I want to do the things I used to do for them because I should & I like to… that’s who I am. But I can’t because I don’t feel it, & I’ve never been good at pretending.

So now here we are at a hill that we’ll more than likely never cross. & I know that but they don’t, because they don’t realize what it took for me to get here.

People think when I say I’m done, I’m being cold because there really aren’t second chances after that. But the truth is I give people SO MANY chances prior to & they don’t even realize. I’ll tell you what I like and dislike, how I expect to be treated, what’s being done that’s bothering me, all the things, so when I finally come out and say I’m done, there is no changing it. Once I’ve felt like you crossed me & showed me you don’t value me… I can never love you the same.

& I know ppl are going to jump right to conclusions but no lol i’m not just speaking on romantic relationships, I’m speaking on the platonic (friends & family) ones too.
