Today is World Malaria Day. Nowadays the WHO aims to eradicate malaria by 2030. But even by now we see in some areas rising infections again. During our latest journeys we got really motivating feedback, but in the same moment we are facing a problem. The most drastic way, it was expressed like this: „Who cares for some dying niggers in Africa?“ This attitude is no exception and we faced this in Europe and in Africa, from Buyers and people on the street. This endangers both - our film in a small scale, but also the global fight against malaria in the big scale. As we grew up in the mindset that we are living in one interconnected world, we know that things happening in one part, affect another part as well. This counts especially for malaria as the disease is spreading and malaria free areas (also the Western world) are endangered to be hit by malaria once more. Actually we do believe that the majority of people does share our mindset, the others are just shouting louder. What do you think? Do you share our belief?
