July 2019 (update 2)
Just completed my MSc last month. I did NOT have any time to focus on vision improvement at all, so I put it off to the summer holidays. So here we are. My vision might have deteriorated slightly during all the reading, but I did get it tested after a couple of weeks.
My current prescription is OD=-0.5 dioters (right eye) and OS=-1.25 diopters (left eye). Right eye seems to have improven by 0.25 diopters
Snellen: OD=20/30 line and OS=20/50 line.
I’ve never worn glasses, so I’m worried about blur adaptation. Active focus (the method behind vision improvement) is still some far away place in Soviet Russia to me... Hopefully I will get is some day. I still do a lot of closeup with my laptop and I’m rarely outside (very rainy summer here in Denmark)
I’ve been reading a lot of the research behind myopia lately. Very interesting stuff. Since I have just finished my MSc in biomedicin, I even find the molecular mechanisms very interesting as well. I’ll be sharing some of the good Science on here.
