Well we are back on Australian soil! Walking back into the airport hearing Aussie accents is always so refreshing. And you realize after not hearing it for a while we really do sound like outback bogans 😆 | Paterson was so tuckered out for the flight. Slept 10 of 14 hours! Due to errors we lost our bassinet booking but they upgraded us to more legroom seats and moved the guy in the 3rd seat which gave us so much more room to spread out, and actually had some time without having to hold Paterson! In the time he was awake he was being his usual self and flirting with every lady in sight and playing ball with a young guy sitting next to us. He only cried a few minutes total out of the whole trip. You really can't complain about that. He was absolute gem. He made a little girlfriend out of an adorable 18 month old sitting in the bassinet seating in front of us. She too was a gem on the flight! People get so apprehensive about babies on flights. A woman actually went off about the other family being near her saying she won't be able to sleep so demanded to be moved... so inconsiderate and rude! She probably made more noise snoring than the baby! Despite her, every single person was so accommodating and picked up Paterson's Toys when he dropped them to play and asked about him and were waving and interacting with him. I just love seeing how he lights everyone up when he smiles, waves and then goes shy. It's just the most heartwarming thing to see your child bringing joy to others, and I hope he continues to do so for the rest of his life! He's such a little charmer. 🍀 #love #endofessay #babypaterson #notreallyababyanymore #home
