As 2018 comes to an end & we enter 2019, what are you most grateful for? What has been the best thing this year, what was the most challenging thing & what did you learn from it? . . For me, the thing was taking bold steps to work on myself, transform my mindset & grow my faith. Then it was finally manifesting one of by biggest dreams of getting pregnant. Meanwhile the most challenging was dealing with the pain after my IVF retrieval, having mood swings from hormone changes & my physical limitations being pregnant. But from that, I learned to trust more in God especially during my hardest times, to clearly ask people for help, to focus & prioritize better & take more time during my pregnancy to care of myself & our unborn child. I also learned that sometimes less is more because being busy doesn’t mean being more productive. What do you think? . . #endofyearchallenge "Upload 2 photos, one from the beginning of the year and one from the end. Let's see how much you've changed" Wellp I gained 10lbs (and new ink). Yes the dreaded weight gain. Don't fear the weight. Focus on better habits. #Fitness wise, this year has been fantastic and not because of my journey but really the synergy of everyone I've worked with in some capacity. It drives me to be better. I ran 5 challenges groups this year and within those groups logged 160 workouts myself. Some were 3 weeks some were 3 months but every group had great engagement and results. People dropped lbs they've been trying to lose for years - People broke the 100lb mark on weight lost from their highest - People got back into the shape they were in during high school - People performed better in sports - People in general just feeling better about themselves and helping each other. Everyone from parents to singles from early 20s to late 30s joined in. The group dynamic is great for accountability and everyone's effort and posts encourage me to stay consistent and push myself. I love seeing the progress people make whether it be losing a few lbs to totally overhauling their #health for the better. 2018 we're coming in strong because we're finishing 2017 strong. We've got 13 weeks starting January 15th to get some serious work done and hit new goals. Invites incoming in the next few days. Prepare.

DAY XXIV: Free To Start a New Habit #lotusblooms challenge 🌸 . . I have yet to master some of my old habits so I am redoing that. I want to increase my self practice with yoga and especially meditation. 2017 will be a year of inner-work. I am guiding a restorative class at 5:15pm and Mixed/All Levels Vinyasa at 6:30pm - - a great way to let go of 2016 and start 2017 brand new. Guess I just went from blue to green 😂💙💚 Still this year has certainly been a rollercoaster of a year. Lots of shit happened; good and bad. But I managed to make it through and next year is going to be a big one. I'm finally moving out of home, starting university once again after 3 years... I don't know how well I'll manage but I know I'm moving in the right direction. At least I hope I am... Anyway, hope you've all had a good year.
