Today, Ezzideen is working a night shift at the hospital; he has been working since morning. The worst part is that there is no electricity in the hospital at all. I can’t contact him and don’t know anything about his situation, except that he is in the hospital. Due to the weather, the solar panels aren’t functioning properly anymore, the weather is more cloudy than sunny. And, as you know, Israel rarely allows solar oil into Gaza, having done so only a few times this year. I am constantly worried and praying. This is harder than I ever imagined my life would be.
