I've been binge watching The Lazarus Project on Netflix. It's such a fantastic thought experiment. What are the sacrifices you would suffer to save us, humanity, from all of our terrible mistakes. What would you do if your sacrifice was too much? Then I wake up in this world, and I keep thinking that for all of their talk, the world is short of truly heroic leaders. They could have done so much, but they did this instead. It's not just here, you can see this phenomenon in many places. If you could have been magnificent, why did you settle for this?
