End to Beginning || Caradoc & Daisy
Caradoc shifted the weight on his shoulders a little to the side. This was it. The train was rolling to a stop and when it did, his future began. He had left Hogwarts forever - Kings Cross was now taking him to a new place in his life instead of back to school. He'd heard from Quidditch Monthly - they asked him to start in a few weeks, which was perfect for him because he wanted to go home for a while first. His dad and brother didn't know he was officially moving out yet and he thought it only fair that he tell him in person.
The people around him jostled a little as the car slid to a halt. He clutched the handle of his trunk with one hand and pushed the car door open with the other. Bright sunshine hit his face as he stepped out onto the ground and that was it. He was off the train. He was in the new world, one with many more questions than the last, full of uncertainty and hope. Caradoc looked forward to what life had in store for him, but didn't mean he didn't appreciate what he was leaving. Hogwarts was a very special place full of very special people that he would miss greatly. One of which stepped onto the platform right behind him.
"So are you finding your way home yourself, or is someone picking you up?" He asked her. Caradoc had promised his dad he could get home without them making the long trek into the city, but others' parents still met them at the station. He couldn't recall what Daisy's family usually did, he just knew he was trying to stall a little before they actually had to leave.
