In which eNeMeE wants a beanbag...
And the tired catboy who has to deal with him.
@chingkittycat, bc you love NM so much, I decided to write you another thing:
"I want a beanbag chair." eNeMeE randomly blurted as he watched CS do... Whatever it was he did. Frankly, he never cared to remember every time he said it. All he knew was that he handled the money and sent people monsters.
"Sir, I already bought you a crystal ball because 'all the cool wizards have one'." The catboy replied, not even batting an eye as he continued to tap away on his keyboard. "Not to mention how much it cost to get one your size, made with *real* crystal-."
"... I want one that's clear and filled with skulls. Not plastic ones, real skulls."
There was a good pause as CS processed his employer's request and stopped his typing. He brought his hand up to his face and pinched the bridge of his nose before letting out a long, tired sigh.
"I'll order you one, but you have to promise not to destroy any planets."
"Psh! I'm a being that feeds entirely on the fear and pain of others-" eNeMeE began, going off on a tangent about how great, powerful, and immortal he was.
Halfway through the gloating, CS gave him an exhausted, yet stern look. It was clear this wasn't his first time dealing with the Demon's antics.
eNeMeE felt him stare, and cut himself off as he tilted his head to look down at CS. Upon recognizing the look, he blinked under his sunglasses and awkwardly glanced away as he pushed them up with one of his boney, pale-grey fingers.
Ever so faintly, eNeMeE mumbled the two words that CS wanted to hear out of him.
"... I promise..."
"See, that wasn't all that hard..." The tiny, tiny capitalist grinned as he turned back to his work. "Once I'm done, I'll order it."
