Ulchtar: "They're beautiful."
I gotta ask, what's everyone's thoughts on Skybound?
I hear a lot about it, and not even the positive reviews really make me interested in it or see the appeal. But I am willing to admit it might be about taste.
Just—
I see so many people saying its the best comic run yet for tf and I just— don't see it???? It's too gritty, too dark. Unnecessarily dark at times. People's first instinct when a new character is introduced has been "these characters will die" and they'll be right 99% of the time!
I don't mind a darker turn for a media. But there is such a thing as too dark.
Idk, I haven't read it because I know the deaths will put me in an emotional state I will not be able to handle. But I really want to understand!
To me, I don't mind deaths and such, but (as far as I've seen) there is barely any reward from it.
Personally, the best adaptation of TF for me has been TFOne. I do see themes in Skybound I enjoy a lot! Don't get me wrong. And I'm not saying it's terrible either. I'm just hesitant to say it's the best version of TF yet?
Idk. I got conflicting feelings and I wanna hear people out.
And I ask this genuinely snd earnestly. Please don't come here to pick a fight (I will block if you're rude). I just want a respectful discussion.
Genvo: "Gotcha! These turbosects are so annoying--"
Ulchtar: "Stop. Everyone thinks they bite, but they're quite harmless. They help clean the gears of our moons. They help our lives run just a little bit smoother. They're beautiful."
Megatron: "You shall be my executioner! You shall be my hand of death! Together we will bring Cybertron back to its rightful and glorious place among the stars!"
Private Martin: "Wait!!! You were in lava! See??! Your legs were gone! We saved you!"
Starscream: "That... is all wrong!!! My proportions are completely off! Draw me again, and do it right this time!!!"
The Alder Planetarium
Wheeljack: "Optimus... I tried to make you a new arm."
