i kind of half-laughed when i saw it bc OF COURSE IT’S SO DRAMATICALLY LONG and of course it looks GORGEOUS blowing in the wind when in reality it should probably still be soaked wet from his fall into the pier but WHATEVER

i was also thinking about how well planned it was that mugen and jin both faced the hardest enemies they’ve ever fought in these 3 eps but they faced the RIGHT ones? like we saw mugen try to fight kariya, kariya would’ve dominated him if mugen had been the one to stay on the pier. but jin trying to fight those three brothers??? i don’t think he would have survived either. it’s lucky kariya only wanted to fight jin and the brothers only wanted to fight mugen lol bc between the two of them, their opponents picked the ones that could beat them lol

lol I never realized how many anons have asked me that, but yeah I guess I have gotten it quite a few times... I guess some of those ppl may’ve followed me recently or want to see if my stance has changed but idk. I still don’t know shit!!!

That would mean that Lin and tenzin were dating for like 15 years tho :O idk why bryke didn't just make Pema like 5 or 6 years older, she could still be pregnant at 40, and then her relationship with tenzin would be less confusing

Most everything in the show suggested they did date for a rather significant amount of time.  

15 years is especially long but there was a lot of history/conflict implied by all that, I like it hueheuhe.  Oh also they were both probably in the public eye a lot too, maybe something with that as well.

I headcanon Linzin start date inbetween those two flashback scenes based on 1. Su mentioning the relationship in order to burn Lin, something that strikes me as odd to reference unless she had seen the relationship for herself, which would have had to have been before she was 16.  2. the "no life" line + Lin looks so much more grown up in the second flashback when not a ton of time has passed, and 3. a little bit just because Lin and Tenzin had always known each other, after too much time goes by it'd be odd still living and working around each other and not dating sooner.

I’m sorry you had those experiences. I’ve heard grindr is hell in app form. My friend has told me that’s he absolutely disgusted by some of the things people have messaged him on there.

it is so dehumanizing, like i dont judge people who can handle being on grindr and if they havent had bad experiences on it great good for them, u know but it really is dehumanizing and it makes you really lose hope that there are guys out there who actually want to get to know you it really is hell and the culture of it is really gross...i dont recommend it to anyone who gets anxiety over things like that i just couldnt do it anymore....like i was on it because i really craved human interaction and i dont know where to go for that without setting off my anxiety but that shit made it 10x worse

I was talking about this in wmnst. We want to go out there and make change, but how can we when we have homework and work and student loans? It’s insane that homework is expected to take priority over this.

i don't even have any illusions that this will change after i graduate, first it'll be moving then it'll be finding a job then it'll be DOING the job then when i'm not busy with these things i'm probably traveling. like i don't know if i use these reasons as an excuse or if the people who find the time to dedicate their lives to activism are just very, very good at time management and better at balancing their energy than i am
