Turf Wars Part Two Reading
This was back on Wednesday, during the Turf Wars Pt 2 release, but...I wanted to get this off my chest.
Reading Turf Wars was honestly an experience. I woke up to go get the comic, and I almost cried when I saw it in the bookstore. I cried when I parked, I was holding in tears at the store, then I cried when I got back to my car.
But, what made the day so, so memorable was reading it with a friend, @the-engineer-and-her-avatar. Honestly, reading the comic with such a treasured friend makes the experience all that better, because you can cry, scream, laugh, and altogether look like absolute idiots together. It’s a blast to know that there is someone out there who will freak out with me on this little comic, but that’s so, so important, and the mutual freaking-out was so much fun <3
So, I encourage y’all who haven’t gotten the comic yet- read it with a friend. Skype or FaceTime if you can. Y’all can discuss the comic later, too, and stare at the Korrasami panels for about two hours (that’s what we did 🤣🤣). But, it makes the experience that much better when you’re reading it with a friend. :)
