i like to think that season 2 *is* canon and alois's spirit now inhabits ciel's brain, watching through his eyes and trying to influence ciel's actions throughout the rest of the story. what he doesnt realize is that ciel is the ultimate idgaf warrior with a specialty in repression and he does not give a fuck about what alois wants him to do. the reason alois is never brought up again is because ciel blocks any mention of him out and since he's our protagonist it's blocked out for us as well. this is my truth.
