The attic space was only 7 feet high. I had to remove the entire ceiling and put in the engineered beam for the main room and addition. All new electrical, plumbing, flooring, kitchen and the 'sky windows' were put in. To make the cathedral ceilings vent properly, air baffles had to be installed to keep the air flow moving between the roof and drywall.
The end result was one of the best transformations I've ever done.
