Geodetic Engineering friends, Engineering Student Council and of course my team mates - MMM Sekani (for the Mining, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering department).
I know we lost. Final score was 24-23 in favor of the other team. Nonetheless, it was a gratifying game. I super missed the time when I was still playing for the Engineering Varsity as a regular (that was before I ended up filing a leave of absence in school for 2 years because of chronic gastric issues). I remember how losing really pisses me off when I was younger, but without the training and still being able to do it after almost n years of no formal training, I felt cloud nine. Haha.
The game earlier proved that I can really still play, despite the fats that surround my body, and hustle. My Dear Lord, I thank You so much for really helping me earlier (no accidents, a lot of points and assists, etc). I was overwhelmed to know that I STILL CAN PLAY!
To be fair, we lost a lot of possible points in the second half* of the game due to lack of players (we had only 4, the other team had like 7) and I think a Lady Maroon played for the GE team. I know a lotta excuses, HAHA. But I still think it was do-able. At least it made me realize, that there were a lot of chances. We overwhelmed them with like 12 points on the first half of the game and I think we were too worn out to finish the game, BOO!
But then again, this game made me think that going back to training for the Engineering Varsity doesn't sound bad. HAHA. I will and I must.
