My apartment just got buzzed by a C130. My state doesn't have a fighter wing anymore, just the C130s, which are less cool (C5s are the coolest cargo planes, A10s are the coolest hands down but we don't have the A10s here anymore). But that sucker was at maybe 1500 ft, and literally went directly over top my house.
I was going to complain that C130s weren't cool at all, but then I remembered during my first internship as a baby not yet engineer, walking through the shop every day where they assembled the propellers for the C130s, and how in awe I was. So I give them that.
