with any luck, i will be on a fabulous trip in a few days. fingers crossed that the myriad paperwork required comes together ahead of our flight sunday. (crosses all her fingers… and toes)

i follow ruth buzzie on twitter. why yes, i have always been a septuagenarian.

i took today off as a sick day because phil insisted. see bullet #1 above. in much need of time away.

Yeah. Not gonna lie, one of my motivators for looking in that area was I HAVE FRIENDS NORTH. LET US GO NORTH. (That and my trip up to see Monstrous Regiment showed me that neighborhoods north of downtown are PRETTY PLACES WITH TREES. This is also a motivator. I miss trees.) I definitely think we should increase friendship time!

And hey. I guess this means that I *won't* be moving the weekend of Nerdfighter Ren Faire. So that's something.

Originally, so I could follow a Craig Ferguson tumblr for the gifs. Which is a stupid reason. XD

Yup! It almost lives up to the hype, except that then you go inside and you are soaking wet and as a consequence cannot use furniture.

CHEESE

(Meat, really, but only certain meats, prepared certain ways, because I am picky as fuck.)

Nope

18.Have you ever fallen asleep in someones arms?

Yeah, I'm sure I have. Husband and I don't cuddle when we sleep most of the time, but it does happen sometimes.

Nope. Not much of one for playing video games.

Not 100% everyone, but yes. Won't elaborate here, but eventually there will be posts on the private blog about it. (I am not sure you are actually following my private blog. If you want to, just send me another ask and I'll give you the URL. Or just ask Sarah, she's following it.)

27.First thing you notice to a guy/girl?

Hair. I'm a little picky about hairstyles. Also I'm a sucker for redheads.

30.Where were you yesterday?

Work. Ugh. And then the library to return a book, and then the post office to mail some books back to the friend who had lent them to me, and then Subway to pick up food, and then home.

That is about three more places than I go on a normal day.

33.Do you think musicals are cheesy?

Nope! Well. Some of them are, yes, but on the whole, no.

36.Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?

I know for sure I wanted to be a ballerina for a while when I was little. Other than that, um. Jedi, probably? Army nurse definitely (Margaret Houlihan was a formative influence). And I'm sure there were other things, but I don't remember for sure. And then I got into 8th grade and thought I wanted to be a lawyer for a while, because a standardized test that was supposed to judge my aptitude for career paths (which, you know, is going to be SO ACCURATE when you're FOURTEEN) said I'd be good at it. (I took the same exact test 3 years later, by which point I had decided I wanted to be a scientist, and lo and behold, it told me I should be a scientist.)

Unless I forget, yes.

42.What do you wear to bed?

Pajamas. Usually flannel pants with some sort of long-sleeved shirt in the winter, or cotton pants and a t-shirt when it's warm. (Or when it's very warm I have a couple sets of pajamas that are tank tops and THE TINIEST SHORTS IN EXISTENCE.)

45.How many relationships have you had?

My husband is the only person I've ever dated, actually. (the answer to this question is actually somewhat more complicated, but again, can't say too much in public)

I'm definitely very shy. Less so on the internet than in person, though.

I am not entirely sure I understand this question.

I don't have any, and my husband doesn't have any, but they're not a deal-breaker.

I had no reason to lie about that but I did anyway. 

140. Summer or Winter?Truly I'm more of a Autumn/Spring sorta guy, because I can't stand temperatures over 70 and I don't like anything below 20 so neither of those seasons are that great for me

145. Tea or Coffee?I like tea and coffee but I usually drink coffee because it makes me not tired and I'm always tiredI always let the teabag sit for too long anyway so my tea gets really strong and the bottom half of it is just wet leaves
