You see, you cannot draw lines and compartments, and refuse to budge beyond them. Sometimes you have to use your failures as stepping stones to success. You have to maintain a fine balance between hope and despair.

The Doctor looked up, startled as he heard the door to the laboratory open behind him. He whipped around, reflexively raising his sonic screwdriver and aiming it at the intruder. It was a young woman. He stared at her, mouth agape.
“Wha- But- You’re not supposed to be in here!” he spluttered. Nevermind the fact that he wasn’t supposed to be in there either. “Who are you? What do you think you’re doing? Close the door!”

“I know you care a lot about him, which is why I’m coming to you about this...” There’s no easy way to put this; Otto was- is- Curt’s friend. He knows Otto is a full grown man ( he’s a nuclear physicist for crying out loud! ) but he’s always holed away on that fusion reactor machine that he’s not the most confident on- then again, Otto was the smarter of the two. He probably knows what he’s doing. “I barely see him outside of that lab of his. I get that this Oscorp thing means a whole deal but... get him to take a few days off, why don’t you?”

Passing through nature to eternity.

Where ignorance is bliss,
'Tis folly to be wise.

“ could we do this dance again ? ”
embarrassed chuckle barks from otto’s throat at the question, though he nods. “ i can’t promise i’ll get any better at it. ” otto teases in response, hand combing through his hair though he nods. anything for her, anything in the world. “ alright, remind me how it goes again. ” he chuckles, moving one hand to her waist.

“ we all make choices in life. “

"We do." Olivia agreed, with a tiny chuckle. "And then we all get judged for them, mainly by those who could never understand the reasons behind said choices."
Which was all a shame, because Olivia thought herself a very reasonable person. Her goals, in the end, were for the good of mankind, and so opposing her was certainly foolish.
A shame that she kept encountering people determined to stand in her way, she thought.
"Still, isn't choices what many of the classics are about? You would know that more than I, yet what are tragedies, what are epics, if not a long string of choices, eternally judged?"
