Jenn, Jenn, Jenn! You were in my dream last night! Someone had turned markgatissconfessions into a television show and we were watching it! Actually I think one of the other people was supposed to be Georgia.
Hello! *waves* *offers biscuit* Been a while since I was last in here. You've redecorated.Oh, could I have a shitty doodle? I love shitty doddles. Anything you like. Surprise me.I'm going to break the mould. What colour shirt are you wearing? Ha! Weren't expecting that, were you?I'll go now. Bye. *creeps out*
I have indeed: I stole the wallpaper from the Life on Mars sets and I'm rather pleased with how it looks
have a henry rackham
less of a doodle and more of a LET'S ACTUALLY GIVE SOMETHING A GO and then it looked like DW's vincent van gogh so I had to basically rearrange all of the facial features that I'd drawn trolol
I am wearing.. I thought I wasn't wearing a shirt under this hoodie but apparently I am. a grey one. With yellow bits on it for some reason. HOW DULL. But i like grey.
-waves after your creeping-

"…I don’t know quite what I said, but I meant it." It was mildly nonsensical but the sincerity came through quite nicely.I don't think you'd grow tiresome at all. You see, I'm rather like that too. I also can be very... odd. I made obscure references to things, often talk like an English professor. I know the strangest things such as the best way to hang a person (I've never tested it in practise, you understand). I know far too much about telly shows and how all the people in them know each other/what they've worked on together/etc, and I quite enjoy quoting Shakespeare in order to confuse people. So if anything, I'd probably bore you.Awww. It's very nice of you to try though. Here, have another hug. *smishes you**skulks back in hopefully* I'm not bothering you, then?
hurrah for knowledge about rather odd things.. a tree of knowledge which is utterly useless but still wonderful to admire... I'm sure that's a quote I've pinched from somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember from where.that sounds like interesting knowledge to own, though. I do remember once reading about the best way to quarter and prepare for cooking a corpse, which I probably shouldn't have said because that's also quite alarming, but I can honestly say that it hasn't inspired me to run amok after sunset with a knife and fork. No more than before, anyway.
I'm afraid that I'm not a fan of shakespeare.. or.. quite a lot of classical literature really. I really feel quite... uneducated? Perhaps. I'm going to blame the literature that was forced upon me in school for my dislike of it. And I'm rather thankful that I never had to read, say, sherlock holmes or hg wells at school, because although it would have encouraged me to read them earlier, I have a feeling that I would have disliked them instantly out of pure defiance. For me nothing quite kills the joy of a thing than having to vivisect it. I do remember at one point having to do part of an English course on analysing comedy... urg. I adore comedy but I could never, never study it.The moment something becomes work or becomes compulsory rather than an optional thing for enjoyment... hmm. This is why I sense that I am going to have some trouble in life finding a job that I really, truly enjoy.
Wheeey, soul successfully spilled out. How did that happen? What I meant to say was, talking like a professor is excellent and I hope to be able to do that. I'd also like to adopt some kind of professory accent. I don't know what, Londonish accent? Long words? that kind of thing?I've no idea what my accent is now, but it's bewildering because nobody I know shares it. I'll go for "pan-English".
And of course television knowledge is good. I swear, a year ago I could no more recognise or name actors than i could rattle off a list of astrological objects by Messier number. But now I seem to be really quite "in the know".. okay, not really. But compared to how I was. It helps that most UKian television shows seem to contain the same medley of actors.I'm still terrible at actor-recognising outside of the UK. I need to watch more US shows for that, really... it's the long series lengths which put me off watching things, seeing as by the time I've heard of something good there are seven series to watch and once I start I know i'll never stop and there isn't time.
ANYWAYI'm having another go.. but can't promise anything. Then again I'm a pessimist. It's doing something, anyway. I have no idea what. So long as it doesn't hurt the DVD it's all good.-suspicious glare-
and no, of course not. though I seem to have rather stolen this by talking about myself anyway HOW DID THAT HAPPEN |:-puts a hat on you with edwardian whiskers stuck to it-
