Given a super cool (though ridiculous) mid 70s Enicar auto watch.
28 February 1966.. commemorating original Gemini IX astronauts ! 55 years ago, a Northrop T-38 registration NASA 901 supersonic twinjet training aircraft crashed upon approach in bad weather to Lambert Field St-Louis - Missouri. Both pilots, Gemini IX astronauts Elliot See and Charles Bassett were instantly killed. Gemini IX crewmates, See and Bassett were to start Gemini capsule & Agena target rendezvous training at McDonnell Aircraft. We remember Elliot See with this great photo showing him and his son David. See was a member of SETP - Society of Experimental Test Pilots and a fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. (Photo: AP/NASA)
