WIP WHENEVER

@weird-in-thedas tagged me a few days ago in a WIP WHENEVER post and I’ve been debating what to share since then. Finally decided to be a brave boy and share something I’ve been working on for a year. Clearly it’s nowhere near done yet but...

I am not an artist. I don’t say this to be humble; it’s just true. I don’t art. But this is somehow turning out to be not terrible and I’m living for it. Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion (hopefully before next September LOL).

A couple of months ago, my fiance bought me a 3D printed statue of Fen’Harel from GizmoForge on Etsy. I have finally managed to finish sanding, priming, and painting it, and he now lives on my desk at work. Here’s the finished statue:

And here he is on my desk at work with a redbubble postcard print of @nipuni‘s fanart Dread Wolf.

Progress pics from the raw 3D print to the final statue below the cut. The process included sanding, 2 coats of grey primer, 2 coats of stone-look spray paint, and distressing using watercolors.
