I dont understand why when the reader confesses her feelings to her crush and he rejects her, that for some odd reason she has to move to a different country or all of a sudden change her entire personality.

All because she got rejected 🫤 like please. And i hate when people say, "well if he doesn't like you then it's his loss". Like no. Nobody has to like you just because you like them, stupid bum.

Like I know it's fictional but I see it way too much. I would never change my entire personality all because I got rejected. I would be sad yes but I will move on.

There are literally other people, or in the fanfic case, other characters or side characters.
