[ I wanted to post a happier little fun fact from the past in my au to try & cheer people up from the recent sadness in the au, plus this ship has become a comfort to more people than I ever thought it would, so as an apology, here’s a little fun fact, enjoy! <3 ]
In Ennard & Baby's relationship, Baby was the first to say "I love you". Ennard said it the same day, but she said it first. They were cuddling in his room (at the old house hotel) & watching a movie when he pushed her hair out of her face. She cuddled in closer to him & said "I love you", then she realized that she said it & panicked saying he didn't need to feel pressured to say it back, but he put his right hand on her face & said "I love you too". That was 2 months after they started dating, so sometime in January of 2018.♡♡
[ So an Ennaby fun fact came across my mind that I’ve never shared, but I want to now before I forget! Thank my back pains for reminding me to share this one XD ]
Let me start this off with an explanation. Basically, in my Main au, Baby deals with back pain a lot. Sometimes it’s not super painful VS other days where it’s so painful that she can’t even try to ignore it. Why? Well there’s no easy way to explain this, so excuse me for being blunt: the reason for her back pain is her chest. As you may, or may not know, most people with bigger boobs struggle with back pain due to the weight & Baby is no exception. Now into the main part of this fun fact!
Some days when the back pain becomes far too extreme for her to handle, she’ll try to lay back to ease the pain, but when she sits back up, it’s still kinda there, which sucks, but Ennard is aware of her back pain cuz he can see the discomfort in her facial expressions & her sharp breathing, so what he likes to do is first cuddle her a bit & try to calm her down a bit since the pain can be stressful & then he’ll ask her if she would like him to massage her back to ease the pain.
Of course, she obviously trusts him & agrees to it. So she'll turn to have her back facing him, lift her top up & take her bra off (not in a weird way, it’s just easier) & he'll rub her back to help ease the pain. She gets a lot of relief out of it in the end & hardly has any pain afterwards. He's very gentle & knows what he’s doing, so the massages are always very pleasant!
Afterwards, she’ll leave her bra off cuz she won’t need the support from it anymore since usually he does this at night cuz she won’t be moving around as much anymore & she’ll put her top back down & just cuddle with him. She always thanks him once he’s finished cuz she’s very grateful for his help.
Anyways, yeah that’s it! I thought it was pretty sweet & I know you all love hearing these little fun facts about them..I think. Hope you like it. ^^
I felt like writing a short Main au Ennaby thing real quick.
Baby has a bad habit of biting & peeling skin off her bottom lip & when it starts to heal, it hurts pretty bad, so sometimes Ennard will gently kiss her bottom lip to distract her from the pain & she gets super flustered.

Ennard: Woah, 11:38 PM?!
Baby: *gasps* It's already that late?! Man, I really lost track of time! No wonder I'm so tired!
Ennard: *laughs* Want to go inside?
Baby: That would probably be a good idea. *laughs*
So, they both hopped off the trunk of Ennard's car & went in through the front door. Once inside, Baby let out a big yawn & stretched her arms out.
Ennard: *chuckles* Pretty tired, huh?
Baby: Yeah..a little bit…
Shortly after saying that, she began dozing off where she stood, causing Ennard to quietly laugh.
Ennard: Should I carry you downstairs?
Hearing Ennard talk made her snap back into reality.
Baby: Huh? Naaaah, I got this. I can totally walk downstairs.
She proceeded to head towards the staircase, then started falling asleep on the door frame before even reaching a stair. Ennard quietly laughed at her, then tapped her back.
Ennard: I do not want you dozing off while walking downstairs, let me carry you.
Baby: Oookaaay…
He knelt down in front of her & she jumped onto his back. They made their way downstairs, towards their bedroom & once outside the door, he turned the knob & entered carefully. Once inside, he quietly closed the door & let Baby climb down carefully.
Baby: Thank you for carrying me..I appreciate it.
Ennard: *smiles* You are welcome.
She then realized she was still wearing his jacket & remembered that she needed to return it.
Baby: OH! U-uh, I'll give you your jacket back!
She quickly unzipped the jacket & handed it back to him, her face kinda flustered.
Baby: Th-thank you for letting me borrow it!! •\\\•
He carefully took his jacket back & smiled.
Ennard: You are welcome, it was least I could do. ^^
Baby: I'm too tired to change into PJs..I'm just gonna sleep in my clothes.
Ennard: *laughs* Me too, though the heater is pretty warm, so I might change into short sleeved shirt. Mind if I change my shirt real quick?
Her face immediately turned red realizing the question he just asked.
Baby: S-sure you can! ^\\\\^ [ AAAAAAA HE'S GONNA BE SHIRTLESS ]
He took off his long sleeved shirt quickly & grabbed a short sleeved shirt to change into, all while Baby was just standing there, trying so hard not to stare. Once he got his shirt on, he stood up & turned to her.
Ennard: You ок?
Baby: *nods* YEP!! Hehe..>\\\\<
Ennard: You sure? You seem kind of nervous.
Baby: I-I'm not nervous! Just tired! >\\\<
Ennard: *laughs* Well, alright then. I better get to sleep, goodnight Бейби.
Baby: Goodnight Nardy.
She wrapped her arms around him happily. Ennard smiled & hugged her back, then both headed to their own separate beds & went to sleep for the night.

Some mentions before you read: This takes place before Ennard & Baby dated, clearly, yes they shared a room at their old house, Baby had her own room, but hated sleeping alone due to nightmares, so later on she started sharing a room with Ennard & I think that’s all I need to mention, enjoy! ^^ ]
Back when Baby & her friends still lived in their old house back in Iowa, they loved going outside, all of them! Didn’t matter the time of day, they loved being outside!
Well, that never changed as they got older honestly, they still loved the outdoors, especially Baby. As a kid, the outdoors were her greatest escape from the ab/sive indoors of that woman's house.
Well, cut to 2 days after Baby's 18th birthday. She was outside, staring up at the stars, nice cozy, but thin jacket & sitting on the back of Ennard's car. A few minutes later, Ennard came outside, checking to see if she was out there since it was 9PM & noticed her sitting on his car. He softly smiled & sneaked up on her, seeing what she was up to at this hour of the night.
Ennard: Whatcha doing out here so late?
Baby jumped & gasped loudly, getting spooked by Ennard's random encounter. She turned to where the voice came from & realized it was only Ennard, which made her sigh in relief.
Baby: Nardy! Don't scare me like that, you dummy!
Ennard: *laughs* Sorry, I was not trying to on purpose, I promise, but why out here so late?
Baby: Ah, just..relaxing. I love the breezy autumn nights. So quiet & peaceful, just me & my imagination running free.
Ennard: Sounds very nice. May I join you?
Baby: *smiles* Of course you can! Come sit with me. ^^
She scooted over to her right & patted the spot on the car next to her, inviting Ennard to sit beside her on his car, so he hopped up & sat next to her.
Ennard: Why did you decide to sit on my car of all places?
Baby: Oh! Uh..heh..I like sitting on Yenndo's car when I come out here, but his is parked in the garage, so I sat on yours instead, hope that doesn't bother you!
Ennard: Not at all, just was curious is all.
He looked up at the sky & understood why Baby was out here at such a late hour by herself. No screaming kids, or people walking by, almost no cars driving by, just the breeze shaking the trees a bit & crickets chirping. It was peaceful.
Ennard: Soo..what do you normally think about out here?
Baby: It depends on the day honestly. Sometimes I think about old memories, sometimes I think about things I wish would happen, sometimes I even think about the what ifs on certain situations, just depends on my mood.
Ennard: Huh, interesting.
Then a question came to mind, which made him smirk.
Ennard: Do you ever have anyone special cross your mind while out here?~
Baby's face got slightly flustered by his flirty tone & his words.
Baby: Wh-what do you mean by that?
Ennard: Hmm..maybe someone like..a crush?~
Baby: WHAT?! N-no, o-of course not!! I don't have a crush!! Hahahaha..haha..eh..>\\\\\<
Ennard: *laughs* I just teasing Бейби, no worries.
Baby put her beanie hat over her eyes & cheeks to hide her embarrassed face from him, but he slowly lifted it back up & laughed, which made her giggle too. Once they stopped laughing, they began to gaze into each other's eyes for a good minute before backing away a bit, now both were flustered.
Ennard: S-sorry for staring for so long, got distracted..[ on her beautiful green eyes & her sweet face..]
Baby: I-I-it's okay!! S-sorry too, I-I was a bit distracted as well..[ on his adorable smile & sparkling blue eyes..]
They sat there for a moment in awkward silence before Baby shivered. Ennard noticed Baby's random jolt out of nowhere & chuckled.
Ennard: Cold?
Baby: A little..should've grabbed a thicker jacket.
Ennard: Here, give me a moment.
He began to unzip his jacket & handed it to Baby. She stared for a second before asking,
Baby: Wait, wh-what about you? Won’t you get cold Nardy?
Ennard: *chuckles softly* Do not worry about me, I not get cold easily.
Baby: Are you sure..?
Ennard: *nods* Take it, пожалуйста…I mean..please.
So, she carefully grabbed his jacket & put it on. It was pretty warm, considering Ennard was just wearing it & it..was also really big on her since she was so short.
Baby: It's..a little big. *giggles*
Ennard: *laughs* A little?! Your arms are so short compared to mine!
Baby: Hey! Not everyone can be over 6 feet tall, you giant!
Ennard: Not my fault you're short! 4'10, was it?
Baby: *laughs* Oh shut up, I'm not short, I'm fun sized!
Ennard: *laughs* Ок fine, shorty~
They talked & laughed for quite a while before Ennard finally checked his phone for the time.
Final update on Annabelle's eye surgeries: She is permanently blind. She can see light & shadows, but she can't see anyone, even with glasses. All of her vision, minus light & shadow perception, is completely gone. She's okay honestly, she doesn't act any differently & is a very happy baby still thankfully!
Baby's really sad about it, she feels bad that she'll never see anyone, or anything ever, but Ennard has been comforting her & letting her know she is not at fault for what happened. Ennard even comforted her by saying something really sweet about this. He said,
"Think of it in positive light: Yes, she cannot see with her eyes, but she can still experience things in her own way. She can still hear us loud & clear, meaning she will know our voices, which will be so important to her. She can still smell, taste & feel as well! So yes, she not relies on sight & will never know what we look like, but she probably will not mind, all she would care about is our personalities & if we are good people. She would love people for who they are & I promise you, she already loves you so much."
& it made Baby happier. Annabelle still faces them when she hears their voices, she just doesn't look directly at them cuz she has no sense of direction with her eyes, but she's still the happiest baby in the world, despite the rough shit she's gone through this week.
Remember how I said Ennard sings? Here's some daily Ennaby content for ya from it:
Baby has a lot of restless nights where she is extremely tired, but finds it nearly impossible to fall asleep, which makes her stressed & her stress makes it a lot harder to fall asleep, which Ennard is fully aware of & when he sees her getting worked up due to restlessness & stress, he picks her up & puts her on his lap, then asks if she wants to talk about it, which normally, she agrees to, even though she feels guilty about it. She vents to him, usually ends up pretty sad & her face soaked in tears, so Ennard helps dry them away & does his best to find a way to help her calm down again.
So he asks if she would like him to sing & she always nods in agreement. She requests a song & he’ll sing it! He mostly sings in Russian because he’s more used to it & she listens peacefully as he sings her to sleep. She usually falls asleep right on top of him & he doesn’t have the heart to put her in her own spot, plus he doesn’t mind, he loves cuddling, but he’ll cover them up & sleep as well! But yeah, he is very comfortable singing to Baby, she’s always so supportive of his singing, which brings up his confidence a bit more. ^^
