Liona had pretty much just been enjoying her coffee like everyone else when she noticed something. After all, sitting alone like she was, she had little else to do but look at her phone and snoop into others’ business. So she opted to do a combination of the two.

Noticing the girl sitting alone at the table next to her, she picked up her Americano in one hand and used the other to tap on the stranger’s shoulder.

“Hey, do you have a minute?” She set down her coffee. “I have to know where you got your phone case.”

(A lame excuse. Perhaps she just wanted someone to talk to.)

の☆ → Captivated by a strange guy, ordering a   Latte with a rather questionable choice in cloth-   ing; a yellow button down, neither tucked in nor   ironed with cargo shorts, followed by a pair of   bright purple socks and dingy, dirty sandals. It   looked like he just rolled out of bed; sneakily,   she pulled out her phone to take a picture of how   silly he looked, planning to send it to her best   friend with a text following how she would set her   up with him-- because  he seems to have a funky   personality and guts. Her thought process was   completely interrupted by a lean female {who   merely made her question if she knew what she   was doing with her phone-}

  “UHMMM —” Phone case. “Oh, r-right! I got it as   a gift from a co-worker; I’m not sure where they   bought it from, but it’s nice, hm?” Trying to give a   firm answer, Rina felt obligated to put more effort   in the conversation, “So you like coffee?? How do   ya’ like your poison?”
