The Cavalry Captain of Favonius was in the tavern having a few drinks when he took a deep breath and felt it was time to leave. Going home? No, Dragonspine could never be called home for being a place so charged with such strange energy.   The nightfall could worry Kaeya a little since he knew that this was Diluc and Rosaria's favorite time to work, but the Captain already knew well the movement of those two to know how to change his own paths until reaching that mountain peacefully.  Dragonspine's cold wasn't a problem for someone like Kaeya, on the contrary, it was very welcome. After all, this place had its own beauty even in ruins. Too bad the presence of some Fatui ruined the place,  think Kaeya to himself.     In one of the places, the Captain found whoever he wanted near the ruins where the statue of Barbatos stood, where a warm energy hovered there as if it were the source of some heat. — What an unusual place to find the Twilight Sword…. —  Kaeya crossed his arms as he watched the other. — Dainsleif, after all this time, we have the opportunity to talk to each other. I believe you knew I was in Mondstadt this whole time, why we're having this moment just now, huh? Too many problems to solve?

Despite the annoyed expression, not even Kaeya himself could tell how he was feeling at that moment to finally see the other in person, it was a mixture of relief and discontent at the same time.

     she doesn’t look away from the sight in front of her -- the ocean, the train tracks resting beneath the waters -- and instead lets out a little sigh. “ it’s pretty, ” makiko answers kohaku, sounding almost faraway. she doesn’t belong here, but part of her wishes she did. of course she wants to go home... it’s fuzzy why, though. the reason is on the tip of her tongue, patiently waiting at the back of her mind to be remembered, yet makiko comes up blank. and for some reason, she isn’t too concerned about that.
