If you’re struggling today, here is a gentle reminder that someone believes in you.
Junko: I’m no artist myself but sometimes...finding the energy to create is hard. It’s even harder when you pour your heart and soul into whatever you’re doing and it feels like a total screw up. That’s a sure fire way to punch the wind out of your sails and murder your motivation.
Junko: But remember that you’re like always your own worst critic. Everything you make, you’ll look at under a microscope because you made it. If the same thing was done by someone else, you probably wouldn’t even notice half the flaws you see in your own stuff! Nothing is ever going to be perfect, no matter how totally desperate we are to make it that way.
Junko: And it can be totally absolutely despairing when you see other people’s work and think to yourself “ I will never ever be able to do anything like that! I’ll never be that good! Why am I wasting my time doing this?”
Junko: Well give your queen your attention because she has something totally super important to say!
Junko: Your work? Everything you do? It’s worth it. No one will ever make what you make or do what you do. That person who you idolise? They probably have the same thoughts sometimes. We’re all just pushing forward and fighting against our own despair. So don’t give up...the world needs your touch.
