        She saw stars, and the sickening crunch and liquid heat running down her face only confirmed that the blonde’s nose had been broken by the impact.

                                It’s not every day one tastes blood.

        “You son of a bitch,” she growled, a gloved hand wiping away some of the crimson, leaving a smear that trailed from it’s source to the side of her jaw, beneath an unused pierced earlobe and down her neck. Appearance be damned… no one cared how you looked when things turned violent.

        And yet, she found her stance frozen. Stepping forward, returning the blow, was physically impossible as her mind reeled.

        This was not a fight that should be happening. None of this should be happening.

                                                                        But it is. And that scares her.
