Summary: After Ryuu's date cancels on him, En agrees to join him on a trip to the amusement park. En has a pretty good time - until he notices something that makes him question what the truth is.
For a long time, he thought he was curse. Looking at every one sharing the words that they have written on their wrist; seeing the look full of happiness and hope when they imagine the moment when they could get to listen to those words from their significant other and see them glow. Nevertheless, that has never been his case; his wrist was empty, no words, nothing that could indicate him that someone out there was waiting for him.
Until now.

Today, En has been spending his day out, something that rarely happens. However, one of his friends has been insisting him to go out and try to see if there was someone else like him, with no words. His friend’s reasoning was simple; maybe En and his significant other would be speechless at the moment of seeing each other, and so no words would be shared at the moment of meeting. The dirty blond laughed at Atsushi’s reasoning; nevertheless, the fact that he has come out of his place during his free day shows that a part of him wants to believe the bespectacled boy’s theory.
“Am I this desperate?” En murmurs and scratches his head, when he is putting his arm down, he takes a look at his right wrist, empty as always.
The boy sighs, now that he is 19 he has started to feel desperate because most of his friends have started to find the love of their life. Well, some are finding the person, and others like Atsushi and Kinshiro are finally starting a relationship since they consider that they have reached an appropriate age. The dirty blond sighs; perhaps, he should give up and accept the fact that he will be a lonely wolf forever. After all, being alone would not be so bad, he can decide where to go, what to do, what to eat…
“Ok, En, you better stop thinking, you are making yourself sad again,” the boy says and slaps himself, which causes that some people stare at him.
He awkwardly looks around and keeps walking to the mall so he can grab something to eat. It has been a long morning and he has already convinced himself that he would not be able to find his soulmate in just one outing. Nonetheless, a part of him was hoping not to feel so disappointed. At the moment that he is about to start reading, he remembers the reason why he hates being out… all those couples being happy and he being all lonely in a dark corner of the food court. Feeling as his appetite has vanished, he forces himself to just eat the french and drink half of his soda, the rest goes straight to the trash can.
When he is more than decided to go back to his place and play some video games for the rest of the afternoon, he receives a text from Atsushi, “Good luck, hope the miracle happens today.” Somehow, Atsushi has always had a huge influence on his decisions and so, he decides to stay a bit longer, maybe just one more hour so he does not feel as if he has failed to his best friend. He is texting back to Atsushi that he is just walking around and not really expecting something to happen. Being so distracted with his cellphone he does not see that he is about to bump into some people. Therefore, when he looks up, he only has the necessary time to catch the other boy by his arm before he can get to fall.
“I’m so sorry, are you alright pinky?” En asks, he is still too shocked and his heart is beating faster, that would have been an awful fall and he was lucky to save the boy.
There is no response from the other boy, he simply looks with his brown, big and bright eyes to En. The dirty blond is not sure on why a person that was so closed of kissing the ground looks so happy at him, the person who almost caused that disaster. Feeling kind of freaking out for the weird atmosphere of the moment, En clears his throat and tries to leave as polite as possible.
“Well… since you are fine, I’m just… you know, gonna keep going,” the tall boy says and tries to move away as fast as possible.
Nevertheless, the other boy pulls En from his sleeve. The pink haired boy is desperately pulling his own sleeve down, his wrist is glowing and so he tries to show the wrist to En. The dirty blond is confused at the action, but once that the glows gives him the necessary visibility he looks at it.
‘I’m sorry, are you alright pinky?’
Those are the words that are written on the boy’s wrist. En is trying to understand what is happening, he looks too stunned at the pink haired boy and then he sees as his own wrist starts to glow. Definitely, he does not know what is going on.
“How do you? I mean… why… I … I don’t have anything written on my wrist,” En says still unable to comprehend what is happening.
The pink haired looks frustrated at the blue eyes in front of him. He desperately looks around for someone, but apparently who he is looking for is nowhere to be found. Nevertheless, when he is about to give in and simply turn around to go and look for help, he listens to the person calling out for him. So, as soon as he knows where the voice is coming from, he grabs En’s hands and takes him with him. The dirty blond is still trying to grasp at everything that has happened in just a matter of minutes. Then, he suddenly sees as the pink haired boy starts moving his hands and the other boy seems to understand him.
“Ok, calm down, calm down, I will explain him everything,” the boy says, “Allow me to introduce myself first, I’m Naruko Io, and he is my friend Zaou Ryuu.”
At the mention of his name, Ryuu smiles and waves at En, then Io proceeds talking.
“Ryuu… well, probably you have noticed it, but Ryuu is mute, he has always waited the moment to meet his soulmate, but at the same time he has always been too nervous and …” Io pauses for a moment and looks back at Ryuu who nods allowing him to keep going, “and he has also been too nervous of being rejected.”
Naruko finishes with the explanation and looks back at En who is still at awe. The waiting moment is killing Ryuu and he looks worried at his friend.
“I will never reject you, I have been waiting all my life for you,” En finally says and falls to his knees.
Ryuu immediately worries and runs to En’ side, and so the dirty blond quickly wraps the smaller boy with his arms.
“I just hope you can be patient with me, I’ll need to learn how to communicate with you.”
The pink haired happily nods and looks at Io, his friend has always been accompanied him and waiting for his dream to become real. Io smiles and pats Ryuu’s head.
“No need to feel bad, I can teach you and I know you two would be happy,” Naruko expresses and En nods.
It has been 19 long years thinking that he was no worth of love. However, now, feeling Ryuu in his arms, and being able to kiss the forehead and the cheeks of the person that is his soulmate it sure feels as the greatest feeling ever.
