I just watched Once Upon a Time and that last scene where flotter sees ensign Wildman and recognises her made me think.
Imagine holo novels for kids that are stored away as a child grows up and are usually forgotten. Until said person is grown up and has a child of their own. Imagine the sweet reunions and teary eyed realisations of the holo characters that the child they once played with is all grown up now and the best they can do now to make the long gone child happy is to make their child happy in turn.
Imagine children's holo novels are prized possessions handed down from generation to generation with the characters having seen generations grow up
