Another Mando Time Travel AU- No name for this one yet, but basically Tarre sends some people back in time to 33 BBY to fix some mistakes. He just wants his people, both of his peoples, to survive.

Save A Rebellion, Ride A Mythosaur- Alternate Heroes of Mandalore where Ezra winds up riding the mythosaur. That's it, that's the post. It winds up being part of the-

-Indiana Sabine AU- Where Sabine finds a ton of Mandalorian artifacts by accident, somehow becomes Mand’alor also by accident, and makes Fenn Rau’s day. Y'all this AU has fanart now!

The Custody Battle AU- Nothing bad happens AU where Ezra builds the Gunsaber and becomes the subject of a three way custody battle between a wizard librarian, a geriatric warrior king, and the young wizard who actually has custody.

The most genius thing about Mr. Darcy's first proposal to Elizabeth Bennet, IMO, is that you can totally see how he would believe it to be romantic and well received, even though he says the most monumentally stupid and hurtful stuff. Because Darcy is not actually stupid, nor is he actually bad, and Jane Austen had to come up with a way for him to propose in an awful way that was still believable. She nailed it.

Like, if you think about it, the idea of "this marriage is a bonkers idea that will make everyone I know upset but I don't care at all because I love you so much and cannot live without you and fuck everything else" is incredibly romantic and flattering. Who doesn't want to be wanted that badly? You can actually understand why Darcy thinks it's a good idea to say this out loud.

But the great thing about this sentiment is that it's simultaneously incredibly insulting. Who wants to hear that getting married to them would be bonkers? It makes you feel less-than, a feeling which the high and mighty Darcy has zero experience with and doubtless no conception of. It would be impossible to put himself into Elizabeth's shoes in this situation. Which again, makes it believable that he would say such stupid stuff to her in this proposal, even though he's an intelligent guy.

I'm just in awe of Jane Austen at creating a proposal that is simultaneously deliciously romantic and monumentally idiotic and horrible at the same time. It's pretty much the worst possible way to propose, a total train wreck, and yet you can buy Darcy believing it to be a smart way to propose. I love it.

In your mercy pray for my sister. She has been admitted to inpatient at the hospital for a bad flare-up of her schitzoaffective disorder. She has had four such breaks with reality previously and had recently celebrated five years of being psychosis symptom free this February. Pray also for me as I coordinate with her doctors and others for care and treatment and to ensure she gets FMLA leave at her work.

Update: I got to visit her today. She is a lot more lucid and coming out of her episode well. Still a bit swimmy. Continue to pray that she recovers full focus and is able to get discharged and back to normality quickly.

There really is a lot to be said about the fact Janine CHOOSES to be kind. Like she puts in the effort every day to be a good person, to not behave like her mother, to be charitable and nice and treat everyone with respect and kindness (even those who are mean to her, like Ava, or who don't always return that respect, like Barb and Melissa). & you can see it when she got sad + drunk in the last episode and tore into Ava. Like she is always choosing to not be that way... & I really respect that about her. Plus, that is a really great way to add depth to her character. I can't wait to rewatch with this in mind and see how it changes my perception of her.
