The City of Ensley is being revitalized from the inside. The residents were asked if Ensley was a person, what would that look like? The overall response was that she is a 20-something, resilient, black woman who takes no mess. Ensley has a rich musical background. To pay homage while still displaying a feminine toughness, she wears a sash of piano keys and her trumpet is her weapon. Her yellow dress is lively and invigorating, and she's surrounded by blue representing the waters where life begins.
