Ruby was running. That's all she knew to do these days. Run and run and run and kill. She preferred to run, didn't like risking the fight in case she got bit. She saw a tree with a knot that her foot would be able to comfortable push herself up on. Grabbing onto the sturdiest branch she could, she pushed herself up, just in time to avoid the walkers that were on her trail. They began to crowd around tree and she swallowed hard. This wasn't turning out good.
