Liv, I just re-read far from the tree for the fourth or so time and it just gets better each read and I needed to tell someone. I’m just in awe of the concept, the characterizations, the moments where I have to put my phone down and take a breath because the feelings of each character are so palpable. In AWE. Bless my terrible memory because I can read this again and again and it’s beautiful every time.
Oh, I’m so touched that you chose me to share this with 🥹 as you know I worship FFTT with all my heart, it’s my favourite fic from recent years and it left such a powerful and lasting impression on me. I envy you for being able to revisit it so many times, I can’t read it without being in the right mental space or I’m useless for the rest of the day lol the fic hangover is so real! I feel you re: that profound feeling of awe that never fades no matter how many times you read it, this fic feels just as magical, effective and emotionally satisfying. I think this happens with every aideomai fic tbh. I wish we could re-create the experiences of reading those works for the very first time once more!
