(Yawns) Hey guys I'm back from my 30 minute nap (checks current date) OH SWEET SANTAS SARSAPARILLA!!!
I'm so sorry for dropping off the face of the earth like that y'all </3 It wasn't for anything big, just a mix of procrastination, school stress, and working on some of my own projects.
I am still planning on coming back to Human-Inphernal art and worldbuilding sometime soon, though! I still think about it a lot, and there are a whole bunch of ideas rattling in my head for it. I even have an outline written for a short fic with a disguised human, lol.
Other than that though, there's been a couple of other things that I've been up to while I was gone! Most of it is stuff with OCs over on EnterVOID, so I'll put my ramblings under the cut here.

SO.
I've been working on some stuff with my OCs for OC battling! For folks who don't know, OC battling is where you and another artist challenge each other to a duel and you both write/draw/animate both of your characters interacting with each other in some way, all under a time limit. It works as a challenge to improve yourself, a way to finally tell stories with your OCs, and as an art trade since you'll both get to see what the other person did with your own character!
There are a bunch of different ways this could go about, like Original Character Tournaments or websites specifically dedicated to them like EnterVOID or Hyun's Dojo. I'm trying to do comics on Void rn and even made a few while I was gone :]
I have a couple others on the site, but here's my main character, Felix! He's a robot with super strength that looks like a teenager/young adult, but is actually 11 years old, lol.
I made a couple of comics with him, like this silly short one since I was gone from the site for a while.
I also finished up a battle with a super cool artist named Fuu a couple weeks back! You can find both of our entries over here - I HIGHLY recommend checking out their side of the battle! I love the way they write, especially their dialogue <3 Also the height difference between my character and theirs is hysterical LMAO
I'm planning on doing some more comics soon too, so I might post them up here. (I'll probably give my Void stuff its own special tag so people who're here just for my Phighting stuff can filter it out if they like.)
There's this superhero themed tag-team tournament that the site's gonna host soon and I made him a magical girl dress for it and everything :]

...BUUUUT if anybody wanted to ask me more about it... or perhaps join the site themselves and comment under people's comics and maybe even battle me in the future......... Perhaps? 👀
I wanted to draw Gwen and White Malkin! Her cat has been missing for a while so it was nice to draw them together again.
I joined the Magic Mayhem tourney with Gwen and Regi back in 2018, and your character lost their magic if they lost... I knew I had no chance of winning, not bein self depreciating, it just wasn't very likely. Since she was gonna lose her magic anyway, I did a little pre-comic where Gwen wakes up, and her cat and magic are gone... she doesn't say why and gets defensive.
I didn't do comics for a bit after that, but went back to Gwen and Regi's adventures, with Gwen struggling without magic but using her witchy potion knowledge to battle. I wanted for her cat to come back but couldn't figure out a way that would be satisfying for myself and readers. I don't even really fully have rules set for the source of her magic powers or the origins of White Malkin... Maybe a big old exposition dump is required but it somehow doesn't feel right to me-- not that I don't just dump exposition but not really about hard rules and how stuff works. I'd have to figure it out and set something in stone...
The kitty has made a few appearances in my last couple comics, but they were both kinda cryptic and made more questions. They were also easily my least acknowledged comics ever, which made me think no one cares about the dumb cat or my dumb characters. Last year my dad died during the voting for vs. Corry, and there was a lotta bad stuff going on. I was so desperate for someone to comment on the comic, I was proud of it, or anything about the kitty mystery but...
Well in retrospect I should have begged for comments but- it was a rough time, y'know. I just want for Gwen to have her magic back, but at this point it's been so long- seven yrs!-- and maybe she should just never get it/him back. She's doin ok without-- it's just a bummer though! Gwen and Regi are just supposed to be fun so confronting any sort of drama in a comic seems wrong for them. We'll see what happens in the future.

After finding some new ways to practice my line confidence, I scratched this out. Line art took like 40 minutes, color took me a few hours, but mostly cause I was messing around.
This is kinda a weird idea update for a super old Entervoid character: "Kale Whitegate"
Only, I think I'm just going to call her Gate.
