I swear BTS have been boycotted by their own fandom about once every two weeks since the comeback was announced. That has to be some sort of record. It might also be a record for the most entitled fandom in the world. And here I was thinking football fans were the worst.

I've had plenty of ships I've yearned for to be canon, but I don't believe they will be. Because I have ✨️ Media Literacy ✨️. And the ships I actually believed in, I learned my lesson, and realized how stupid I was to think those ships would become canon.

The By1er Cult is going to become 10x worse than they already are on New Year's Eve because they've gotten their hopes so high for NOTHING. 🙄

I usually delete shitty messages like this and block the person so they can never contact me again. However, you've struck a chord with me today about how entitled people like you are in fandom these days. Yes, I'm about to go on an old person rant, but idgaf—it needs to be said.

First of all, I don't care what you care about. That sounds harsh, but it's true (and, frankly, your ask is harsh and confrontational, so you deserve it). I contribute to fandom how I see fit. That mostly includes writing fic and making 3d renders of what I'm hyper-fixating on at any given moment. If you don't like what I'm posting now, cool. I still don't care. I will not—nor will I ever—write/render what someone demands of me simply bc they want it. Let me break it down for you this way:

I'll use rendering for an example bc it's what you're bitching at me about.

Each decent render (meaning I put my all into it) takes about 6 to 12 hours, depending on complexity, number of characters, and post-work in Photoshop. This includes posing, clothing, hair, background, camera positioning, lighting, any tweaks to the characters that I have to perform for a specific scene, drawing/painting extra details after the image is rendered, further tweaking lighting, etc. It's a long, complicated process that I taught myself for the sheer love of the game. However, now that you have an idea of what it takes to make a 3d render (which doesn't include any other customizations, like making new hair and clothes beforehand), you can see how much work it actually is.

You want something specific? You can pay me. I don't take commissions bc I like making what interests me without outside pressure, but if you're truly this passionate about getting what YOU want, I have PayPal. A simple render (one character and backdrop) will take me about 6-7 hours and will cost you around $200 with one round of revision. You want something more complex? Something with multiple characters and a full background? That'll be about 10-12 hours and will cost about $400. I'll wait for a DM so we can discuss terms.

Oh, what's that? You don't want to pay that much or at all? I kinda figured, along with assuming you're the type of person to consume fandom without contributing whatsoever. You probably don't write, create any kind of art, or reblog/comment on the stuff you do like, huh?

We have several female characters who haven't even been introduced yet or have only one line. Molly, Crymini, Helsa, Zeezi, Clara and Odette. Even Sera, Emily, Glitz or Glam. There is plenty of potential for at least some of them to be lesbians.

But no, let's decide to focus on the women who are implied to be bisexual (Velvette, Carmilla and Rosie) or homophobic and straight. (Lute) Don't get even get me started on Barbie Wire. THAT'S the lesbian representation you guys want from a character? A groomer?

I guess it only counts when its a character you like, huh?

You want my opinion? The creators can make these shorts about whatever the hell they want, same with the episodes. Doesn't mean i'll like EVERYTHING they put out (Cherub and Unhappy Campers, i'm looking at you) but i'm not gonna act like an entitled brat for not getting what I wanted.
