*finally* i have tentative designs for my Backrooms OCs Gray, Leon and Cassander!
Leon and Gray are work partners (he's her supervisor) and Cassander Gray just met while exploring Level One of the Backrooms. Leon and Gray work for the ERC and are sort of like rangers/researchers studying and keeping an eye on Backrooms entities.

It's not obvious here but Gray has one brown eye and one gold eye, there's a cool canon-derived explanation for this :) which I can't be bothered to elaborate rn :D She had long hair, but buzzed her head because long hair + helmet = yuck. She's v curious, sometimes impulsive, with dubious self-preservation skills. She likes to collect little things from the Backrooms as mementos of her "adventures", like a Hound's tooth or Deathmoth jelly. (This is against protocol but she dgaf).
Leon is the sharper and more serious of the two, very focused, the burden of responsibility weighs heavily on him, he's much more aware of how dangerous the Backrooms are compared to Gray - he's lost team members in the past. Most of his job is just wrangling Gray to stop her from wandering into the jaws of death. Leon is English, Gray is American.
Cassander is a Faceling that Gray met, he's friendly to humans, a little flirty, and kind of chilled-out. I don't have a lot on him yet, he's so new. Although he can communicate telepathically with his own kind (and some "sensitive" humans), since he doesn't have a mouth he uses sign-language to talk to most humans, or uses text-to-speech on his phone. He actually likes to hoard names and goes by whatever he likes the sound of, currently he's using "Cassander".
