Well, sure. But time goes on and people change. I miss them, and I miss the fun we used to have, but it doesn’t change the damage they did or the fact that it’s better off for all of us involved to move on. If we ever talked again, then the dynamic would be completely different, and I’d still miss when times between us were easier. On the other hand: it’s enough to know that they’re taking care of themselves and are trying to take people who make them uncomfy out of their lives.

Tl;dr: of course I do. But times go on, people change, and in the end: I’m happier now than I’ve ever been, so, while I wish they were here with me now, I can only do my best to move on and hope that they’re happier now too
