A bored yawn, feet are far from touching the ground as he moves along— most of the time, he’d hardly muster the energy to do so, but this is really more beneficial for him given the city’s current predicament. Irritating to use his energy on this, but he’ll take whatever little advantage he can get here. It at least helps him feel like he’s not completely powerless here.  

...Of course, if anyone asked, he was definitely just slacking off and not greatly underpowered. No biggie.

Hm? The darkness? The odd tunnels? He’s taken an interest in such, of course—  even passively, it would not do to remain ignorant, if nothing else: distaste for being uninformed is quite high on his list. He at least had enough awareness to understand the circumstances, but, well; that’s only second in to his current companion. If he’ll be useful to him is more pressing, perhaps, but he’ll keep him entertained, at least. If they don’t accidentally attract unwanted attention before then.

“I admit, I was hoping to have a little more capable company, but...I suppose you’ll do. Better than nothing.” Tone is a bit purposefully antagonizing, of course— curious to see if he’ll snap back, or...? Hee hee. “I hope you at least can run well, should we run into anything around here— though ideally we’ll just be in and out, once we’ve gathered some information here.”

Fantasy Costco Dennys, Mammon wasn't familiar with the place - must have been a human thing - but wow was it impressive. You could get everything here AND the food didn't smell half bad. The greedy demon was on the lookout for anything in his taste, (not that he had the currency to pay for it) this Opal credit card had to have something on it that he could spend.

Far from the restaurant portion of this warehouse, opposing the side that had walls lined with groceries and home goods, Mammon perused over the glass cases of fine jewelry. 14k Gold, 40k Gold, sterling silvers and gemstones... of course he would have to want the most expensive item in the bunch of it all. The necklace was gold and gaudy with a large sapphire as it's focal point. The demon's eyes nearly glittered when he looked at it.

Like any smart set-up, this section was heavier on security and the second Mammon's eyes lit up there was a clerk at his side asking if he wanted to purchase the necklace. Mammons answer, of course, was yes. He didn't know what he was going to do with the necklace, but he felt as though he needed it. They set up a check-out where he stands, but the moment he pulls out an Opal credit card the clerk and security guard both scoff and laugh.

"Hey hey what's so funny?!" Mammon snarls and pushes the card toward the clerk, even if it didn't work he wanted to try it. The clerk shakes their head. You can't afford this, not with that card. They explain, and are quick to pull away from this embarrassing display of lacking funds. Mammon is then ushered away from the fine jewelry area by the security guard, a scowl on his face as he shoves that useless Opal card into his pocket.

 "FINE! I'll be back for that you better keep it nice and pretty for the GREAT MAMMON ya hear?!!" he stubbornly shouts back only to be met with whispers and sneering. What a bunch of jerks.
