Some Reflection:
I was inspired to start a 30-day challenge when I saw Savannah College of Art and Design’s Sequential Art Masters Program Self Promo Class start theirs’ mid-April. I remembered how much I grew as an artist when I took that class and that challenge and wanted to do it again. So I wrapped up the 30 comic prompts I was working through and started planning my challenge.
I have always liked drawing environments better than people, so I knew I wanted to draw places. And being stuck inside for social distancing due to COVID-19, escaping to different worlds through art seemed like a good time.
I dug through my reference folder on my desktop and gathered random images. Then, I put them together into 30 groups. I used a different set each day to serve as inspiration for my drawing. Sometimes the drawings were heavily reliant on the reference, and sometimes they took off in their own direction. Either-way, the reference got me thinking in a different way than I would normally approach the prompt. As an artist, I tend to fall into drawing the same items I am naturally drawn to, so this was a good way to shake it up.
The challenge revealed to me a few things about my own art I didn’t realize. It showed me I fall into using a couple color palettes naturally, so I tried specifically to pick different palettes as the challenge went on. I learned more about how I approach texture and light, as well as black placement. I also was reminded of the importance of doing color tests before I color the whole image. When I skipped doing color comps, I spent way too much time later tweaking colors. Process process process! I also learned a new way to draw trees which I enjoy, and more about my experimentation with limited color palettes. I was also reminded of the basics of perspective in some ways.
The snails came from something I heard about the show Adventure Time many years ago. I heard a rumor that they hid a snail in every episode (and eventually it became a plot point). I wanted to have a Where’s Waldo moment in my pieces too! It sounded like a lot of fun. The more I thought about it, the more the snail became a perfect specimen. It can be indoors, outdoors, underwater, on plants, in manmade objects, hot places, cold places, doesn’t pose a threat, doesn’t interrupt, can be any color, and doesn't call too much attention to itself. I couldn’t think of a more perfect item, so in homage to Adventure Time, I hid 30 snails in the drawings, and I really love it and want to hide little fun items in all my pieces now!
Overall, I enjoyed doing this 30-day challenge, and I feel I grew as an artist. I met some new people and made new connections with those who supported me, and I connected with artists who participated in the challenge themselves. Thank you so much commenters, likers, participaters, and snail finders! Y’all made this so much fun. ⭐ 🐌
The Vital Role of Ecological Biological Assessments in Environmental Planning
Introduction
The increasing human population and the expansion of development projects have placed a growing emphasis on the balance between economic development and environmental protection. Infrastructure developments, urban sprawl, industrial complexes, and land subdivisions can all pose significant threats to natural habitats if environmental factors are not adequately considered during their design and implementation. Ecological biological assessments offer a solution to these challenges.
Ecological biological assessments are studies conducted to understand and predict the potential impacts of development activities on natural environments-specifically on habitats, animal life, plants, and the entire ecosystem. By providing crucial information, these assessments contribute to sound decision-making and sustainable planning strategies.
What Are Ecological Biological Assessments?
Ecological biological assessments are scientific surveys performed to examine the current ecological state of a particular region. These studies focus on a wide range of ecological features, including flora, fauna, habitats, species diversity, and ecosystem functionality.
Environmental professionals utilize techniques such as field studies, habitat suitability evaluations, species population counts, and ongoing ecological monitoring to gather and analyze data. The purpose is to determine if a project is likely to harm any endangered species, protected areas, wetlands, or other ecologically sensitive environments. The goal is to gain an understanding of existing ecological conditions before a development project is initiated and to identify potential environmental risks.
The Significance of Assessments in Environmental Planning
Environmental planning refers to the decision-making process for land use, resource management, and development projects. Accurate information about the natural environment is essential for this process.
Ecological biological assessments offer planners, developers, government officials, and environmental consultants the essential information they need to make well-informed decisions. When the ecological characteristics of a site are understood, project designers can incorporate strategies to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental laws. These assessments can also help in identifying design alternatives, implementing mitigation measures, and developing conservation plans that support both project goals and ecological well-being.
Preserving Biodiversity and Ecosystem Health
Biodiversity conservation is one of the most important outcomes of ecological biological assessments. Healthy ecosystems rely on the intricate interactions between plants, animals, microbes, and the physical environment. Development projects can contribute to habitat fragmentation, disruption of animal migration paths, declines in species populations, and alteration of ecosystem functions. By conducting an assessment, environmentally significant sites and sensitive species can be identified and protected during project planning. Understanding these ecological values early on allows organizations to protect habitats, establish buffer zones, implement wildlife corridors, and create habitat restoration programs, thereby ensuring long-term ecosystem health and biodiversity.
Facilitating Regulatory Compliance
Environmental regulations are in place to safeguard natural resources and ensure that development practices are sustainable. Typically, many projects must undergo environmental review and receive approval before construction can begin. Ecological biological assessments provide the scientific documentation required to comply with relevant environmental legislation and regulations. They also contribute to the preparation of environmental impact statements, permit applications, and conservation strategies. Organizations that conduct thorough ecological assessments are better equipped to avoid regulatory obstacles, delays in project timelines, and potential legal consequences.
Mitigating Environmental Risks
Environmental risks can lead to costly delays and the need for significant redesigning of projects. Unexpected findings such as the presence of endangered species or sensitive habitats can significantly complicate project implementation. Ecological biological assessments allow these risks to be identified early in the process so that appropriate mitigation measures can be developed proactively. The reduction of environmental risks benefits the project developers, the community, and the ecosystem as well.
Promoting Sustainable Development
Sustainable development strives to meet present-day needs without jeopardizing the ability of future generations to fulfill their own needs. Ecological assessments are integral to this concept, as they help organizations minimize ecological impacts while maintaining economic viability. Adherence to sustainable practices can lead to improved resource management, heightened environmental responsibility, and increased public trust. Ecological biological assessments offer the scientific foundation necessary for integrating environmental considerations into development and planning to achieve a balance between these goals.
Accessing Ecological Assessment Resources
Organizations in need of expert assistance for their environmental planning efforts can find professional guidance from ecological assessment resources. The website https://ecologicalbiologicalassessment.com/ offers information on ecological and biological assessments, environmental regulations, habitat evaluation, and conservation planning. Expert guidance and scientific knowledge are crucial for optimizing environmental planning processes.
Community Benefits and Long-Term Advantages
The advantages of ecological biological assessments extend to communities. Protected habitats contribute to cleaner water, reduced soil erosion, and stable wildlife populations. Enhanced recreational opportunities can also arise from preserved natural spaces. Long-term environmental management can also result in increased resilience to the impacts of environmental change. Well-planned development can achieve both economic growth and environmental protection for communities, leading to long-term benefits.
Conclusion
Ecological biological assessments are essential tools for modern environmental planning. They provide the scientific basis for protecting biodiversity, minimizing environmental risks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering sustainable development. The need for informed decision-making regarding environmental protection will continue to grow. By conducting comprehensive ecological assessments and incorporating their results into planning, organizations can ensure both development and environmental well-being. For assistance and expert guidance in ecological assessment and planning, resources such as https://ecologicalbiologicalassessment.com/ are invaluable.

Windows Vs OSX Vs Ubuntu for Beryl touching Rails Characterization
Photosetting up an advanced Cherry-colored involvement is quite an delicate task. With the advent of latest technology mystification, professional developers use installation guides to configure their working horizontal plane for Rails development on real-world by installing Ruby on Ubuntu, Windows, aureate in regard to Mac OS MONOGRAM. Detailed up-to-date instructions help you install newest Rails release. The newest pre-release version is Rails 4.1.0.beta1 whereas Rails 4.0.2 is the stable current release.<\p>
What is Laky on Railsapps? <\p>
The RailsApps project offers sample applications which development professionals bon ton thus starter applications. Many developers use the apps and propose solutions of report problems as these come into existence. Rails in many instances changes depending on route to how every misuse performs over against award in that your unfriendly €reference implementation€ so that other self displace holiday updated. Every one strenuousness is accompanied by a tutorial to avoid one mystery table. Project support includes the example applications along with the Rails Composer tool, coming from the RailsApps tutorials upon subscribers.<\p>
Jade on Rails development in keeping with Windows <\p>
Developing Railsapps on Windows can be a daunting task. Installation of some gems that require autochthon extensions may be ticklish. For this reason, developers mostly use Ubuntu or Mac OS X to develop Railsapps.<\p>
Some choices in preparation for Windows synthesize: Install the railsdevbox armory Railsbridge Sleeping Anti-monopoly party Try using the hosted anagnorisis environment Nitrous.io For Windows, vested interest RailsInstaller as documented entranceway Installing Railapps headed for Windows Nitrous.io is ideal good terms case you have a impetuous Internet connection. If not, railsdevbox or the Railsbridge Virtual Progressive party can come downloaded for a virtual Linux decoder with Rails 4.0 and Hot 2.0 using Vagrant. RailsInstaller existent the expiration option is not recommended as it does not provide an updated version with respect to Rails or Ruby. Ruby Version Producer (RVM) also does not drive on Windows.<\p>
Railsapps Development whereby OS X <\p>
Mostly developers thus to spend a little compound time to set grow up their workspace. If you have been experimenting on this territory the core criteria of your preferred setup can continue as simple as follows: Unobtrusive core files without one plosive Flexibility with Infrared versions as well as gem versions for each project Minimum configuration Easy to rationalization existing fleur-de-lis new projects These same ideals would certainly help Rails developers get started hell-bent for election. You bathroom easily choose to upgrade to Mac OS X before installing Railsapps.<\p>
It comes pre-installed by dint of a €system Ruby€. It includes the RVM having a known security vulnerability. Being as how biddability during measure, the way Ruby should not be shrunken.
