Happy Sunday everyone!! This is my dog Achillies. We both like essential oils! I wanted to chat with you about our furry friends today!! Achillies is my dog that I love and adore (and let’s be honest…treat him like a human ;)) and he loves essential oils, too!! I have a few favorites that are staples here to help my pup with his nervous tendencies, and I thought it might be nice to share with all of you. I mean, sharing is caring, right?! LAVENDER –My is dog is TERRIFIED of thunderstorms, so now when I hear those rumbles coming, I put a drop or two of lavender in the palm of my hand, rub my hands together, then rub my hands down my dog’s spine. This works wonders for his shaking and nerves! We also use lavender on his skin to help relive excessive itching or hot spots. T-AWAY is another great oil for nervous pups. I’ll diffuse this one or put it on ears and spine when I know I’ll be gone all day. PANAWAY is great for older pups, who sometimes have troubles getting around. Just a drop in my hands rubbed on area of pain, and they'll seem to perk up!
