There was a frown on Yoona's face, making it seem like this statement indeed was an issue that should be taken seriously.  And it really was. Despite Jessica's usual appearance that most people called rather cold, Yoona had the chance to look beyond that. And the cuteness she was met with had thrown her off guard more than once. 

"I'm gonna be spending my whole time clinging to you and cooing if you continue like this!" She exclaimed afterwards, her lips pursing into a pout. To demonstrate, the younger idol cupped her friend's cheeks and pulled her closer, pressing a small peck on her nose. "You better be careful. I might annoy you a lot in the future."

She took out a compact mirror from her bag to inspect the said something since her makeup looked pretty darn good today, only to find some speckles of paint on her cheek. “Oh it must’ve been from the painting I did earlier, guess I was so into it that I didn’t even notice!” 

After wiping her face clean with a wet wipe she turned towards the other with a smile “Thanks for letting me know though, usually I’d only realize after getting home.”

Basic Angst Starters

Reality is cruel.

Yoona couldn't help but think that as she stared at the older, who seemed to be on the verge of tears. Her own eyes were dry, surprisingly. Usually she started weeping so easily. But now all she could do was stare.

She wished she could tell Jessica something to comfort her, to reassure her. Something along the lines of "You don't have to." and "It's gonna be alright.". But when had lying ever made anything better? No, reality was there, the harsh truth that had to be accepted. It couldn't be anymore.

"Sorry." Was all she could choke out. It sounded broken, pathetic. Nothing to soothe one's pain with. However, Yoona really couldn't. She had no power here, she couldn't change their fate, couldn't change the fact that Jessica was torn from them, even though none of them truly wanted it. They were all restrained, and had always been, would always be. 

"I'm truly sorry." The same words again, this time more urgent. They still had no power, but she needed to let the older know that she cared, that she still had the other in her heart. Yoona closed her eyes and reached out, placing her hands on Jessica's shoulders. "We'll see each other again."
