I’m now really hoping that Emily Browning will play Eorann (Mad Sweeney’s wife when he was a king), mainly because I would pay good money to see Emily dressed as an Irish queen.

The fact that they may have not casted anyone for this role and decided to cut her off haunts me and upsets me deeply.

Do you have any personal Eorann headcanon around her, her and Sweeney, or even her and Laura?

Oh wow. You know, I haven’t actually thought that much about Eorann in general, other then wondering, pre-S2, whether we’d be seeing her with Laura’s face on. 

But now that you’ve prompted me to do so…

Eorann is a big believer in “seek first to understand, then to be understood”. Laura just wants to be understood, periodt.

Eorann sticks with the classic Margherita pizza, but once in a while, she’ll go crazy and throw some pineapple on there. Laura couldn’t care less about pizza toppings because she eats out of necessity, not taste

75% of the reason why Eorann married Sweeney was because he was the only one taller than herself and all her other suitors

After Sweeney and Eorann make love, they fall asleep while cuddling. After Sweeney and Laura make love, they just roll over to their respective sides of the bed and fall asleep, but then always wake up in the morning in cuddle formation

Laura splooshed a little when Sweeney knocked down that motel door and had his hand around her neck while he peered for his coin.

Eorann never sold that yellow dress she wore on her wedding day - she saved it for her second marriage to a man who offered her decent financial security. He also had the personality of tofu….just to be safe.

Eorann washes her delicates separately in the wash, but only because she feels a little guilty for how much $$ she spent on them

Laura: “What are delicates?” as she only does laundry when she absolutely has to and while also leaving her clothes in the dryer for a week so they get all wrinkled again

Eorann: “Guys! Let’s work with these monks and try and achieve harmony together!”

Essie: “Listen, I’m down with monks and all, but like…what’s in it for me?”

Laura: “Yeah, no. Fuck those assholes.”

Even though Laura’s never been jealous of Eorann (she’s only jealous at what men can get away with), one time, Sweeney nabbed himself a Western-wear type of shirt that had a yellow/marigold pattern on it. She immediately chucked it in the trash when he wasn’t looking and suddenly remembering the complementary color wheel in her college art class, replaced it with a blue one.
