All my luck is yours, Dead Wife.
⮡ AMERICAN GODS (2017 - 2021)
I miss American Gods seasons 1 & 2. That show felt like a warm hug.
Rewatching American Gods. I always loved how unapologetically problematic Laura Moon was, but after a few years without seeing the show, I think I like her even more now. She’s an asshole, a hypocrite, a horrible person, and she doesn’t care. The only thing she ever really wanted was to feel something, and the only time she manages to feel anything is when she’s already dead and can’t actually feel anymore.
When I think about problematic female characters who deserve recognition, I definitely need to add her to the list, because what a problematic icon. I adore her.
There was an accident, all right.
American Gods, 1.06 “A Murder Of Gods”
Laura: Can I ask you for a favor?
Sweeney: I would literally kill for you, but continue.
Laura: We need to talk about you starting sentences that way.
DEAD WIFE
Mad Sweeney's Lucky Coin (study)
Leprechaun Mad Sweeney and "Dead wife" Laura Moon from American Gods. These two are very charming . I like their road (and love) story which runs parallel to Shadow's journey. Sweeney is much more interesting in the series than in the book, and it's great that his role has been expanded
