Finished the 1/3 scale doll version of the Nessi Byrd "crop top" coverup

I am so happy with the colors. Those thrifted old punch needle embroidery yarns came through again.

This took a lot longer than I expected. And then at the very end as I was panting exhausted from that marathon, I looked around and realized I needed to make more clothes, to go with it, in order to photograph it 😂

It really fits better on the broader shouldered male dolls so I went ahead and made giant male shorts but then switched to the EOSdoll girl body at the last minute because the available male dolls don't have faceups 😅 So she's swimming in all this but she looks beautiful.

Head is Supiadollz Lina in "original tan" on a Eosdoll body in "tan." It is not a resin match but I'm pretending hard. (Actually the color doesn't bother me at all, it's the neck not fitting, so her head is popping around at extreme angles.) Faceup by Alewife on DoA.

I also somehow forgot AGAIN the reason I don't use these beautiful eyes is that the pupils are wildly different sizes so it's nearly impossible to get them looking like they're going in the same direction. Wow that was a frustrating eyeball install and no they still aren't right!

if you have an oriental resin Diana, I think the NS Limhwa body could be a good match! The proportions are beautiful, but the head would need sueding/ silicone kip.

Limhwa Human in That pink wig, and flexible eyes.

I always forget this eye pair has two different size pupils so it's impossible to position them looking natural but I put them in anyways cause I'm short on smaller iris options.

She has such a serious expression, maybe even frowny. Oh I know, she reminds me of Soom Beryl like this.

Anyway she's a gorgeous somber note on my shelf and the inner grabby hands are happy.

Limhwa Human package finally arrived 😍😍😍

She has the holographic head logo and not the metal one so I'm guessing she was probably one of the very last orders before Limhwa stopped making them. (Edit: listing claims 2010 or 2011.) Looks like a company faceup, one of the slightly newer style with a multicolored eyeshadow.

The seller didn't send her heel feet or certificate.

The seller also had her company box wrapped in bubble wrap a foot deep and inside a HUGE shipper sooo that explains the high shipping cost :/

She has a full body blush and manicure and pedicure, reminds me of the old days. I don't prefer a body blush because it always chips and looks rough immediately (her nips have been through the war). But it's interesting to have a doll with it for a moment. Until I have the energy to scrub her down. Gotta be careful because I think I'd like to keep her nails painted as they are, it all looks well done.

I was doing the wig montage as you do, but had to pause on Poochie's old wig cause it looks like ridiculously cute pigtails on her. I gotta lay down for a bit but will try more wigs and to move her eye position later. So pretty...

Next romper in weight 1 yarn and a variety of hooks. Turned out so oddly chunky and thick, yet hole-y, I don't like that for this garment. But I do like the color and shape soooo

Alright crew, I've sent the yearly email to Limhwa/Eosdoll.

Not asking for doll updates this time as I feel that must be a burden to be pestered year after year. Just wishing her well and thanking for the dolls she has put out into the world.

But I still secretly hope she will sell more dolls someday 😅
