i find it interesting that he says sky people here, as in i assume the normal people. were the everyday people doing this, or some superpowered sky person leading the charge? making the sky people, and Gan Fall by association, the bad guys, is an interesting twist. of course, everyone is the hero of their own story, but i like that Gan Fall admits it's bad.

i would imagine that eneru took over by force, not charisma, so there are probably people still loyal to Gan Fall.

this is fascinating, and so fucked up. i was not expecting psychological warfare in this show.

I'm really obsessed with hfth and everything it says on grief and death and change.

Ep 168 really it really plays into death is always a rebirth but something is still lost during the process

When the soul for a soul was first mentioned in 167 I thought Clara was going to sacrifice herself cos she had already sacrificed so many years into resurrecting Riot.

But of course the Maidstone sisters wouldn't let anyone sacrifice anything when they could and definitely not let the other be the sole (heh) sacrifice.

And they both live on in the body that is the mix of the two, in Clem's legacy and the memories still there

But something is still lost, that was still the night Clementine Maidstone died and the future is uncertain for who this new person is and is to everyone Riot and Clem knew and loved.

That hope for the uncertain future despite the grief of what you used to know being gone, has always been the tone of this podcast

This has always been about humanity's last moments and the legacy and the people changed by death who are left on Earth

And it's episodes like this that remind me how much I love that

2. It only took over a hundred and a half episodes but we finally got Thog to recognize The Gang as his friends. I TOLD you we'd teach you the meaning of friendship, you bastard! He fell for the oldest trick in the book, being supported by people who care about him and like having him around! Now he's hooked on friendship, he'll be an addict for life!
