Markus' relationship with imps is so good. He made macaroni art of them in wizard high school. He has an advanced understanding of their anatomy and language. They don't seem to enjoy being used as meat piñatas, but they're also not enslaved, and there are (feral? wild?) imps just out and about, with their own little cities, so they COULD leave and be okay.
Markus has a phobia of skeletons. Imps don't have bones.
(This post was prompted by Markus going "you guys know [enslaving them is] not what I do, right?" just to be met with awkward stares, which made me laugh so hard I teared up a little)

So I am very anti-Fandom (the company, not the concept) but I've been adding trivia as it comes up to the Thrilling Intent Wiki (I would LOVE an alternative, but I'm not sure there's enough people interested to make a switch). Mostly I've just been doing this because the 3rd wheel folks make so many funny throw away comments with strange lore implications and I feel like SOMEBODY should be keeping track!
Anyways the other day I got this very nice message from the wiki's moderator (and the main if not only person keeping the wiki up-to-date) and I just wanted to share cus it made me happy :]
